Visitors approaching The Pulan by air will first see a huge ring, which a closer inspection will reveal is filled with water. This is the first encounter with the Water Ring. When night falls, guests receive a startling and unexpected surprise: while the Water Ring becomes a ring of light with the entire surface illuminated by LEDs, at the same time fire nozzles around the perimeter belch out a Necklace of Fire and mist generators spew out a Cloud of Mist, all combining into a fantastic, dramatic welcoming festival worthy of one's encounter with this exotic land. On the 34,000 m2 Water Ring, the crescent-shaped hotel, the conference dome, and the indoor pool dome form their own archipelago. Traversing the site is a gradually descending waterfall that serves as a water playground for children. The landscape, with its consistent theme of arc-shaped elements, is designed to conjure up visions of a world unlike any you have ever seen.
