Kang Yun Lee, the Chairman and CEO of MRDC made a courtesy call on the new Secretary of DPL(Department of Public Land) in February , 2010.

Chairman Lee and the new Secretary shared opinions about the progress of the PULAN project and reconfirmed a firm cooperative relationship.

DACOS, the Korean energy company which has a proprietary technology of energy saving solutions, visited Saipan and Tinian for a spot survey. During their four days' stay, they made a field investigation of the PULAN site in Tinian and had meetings with the MRDC engineering team in order to understand the regional conditions better. Also they visited the Department of Public Land and made a presentation of the DACOS system to the Secretary and the staffs.
DACOS System is the simultaneous cooling and heating system that converts the energy absorbed from air, water or earth into heat energy. It does not need any fossil fuel and realizes 100% eco-friendly energy system.

Meanwhile MRDC signed the MOU with the HOFSCHNEIDER ENGINEERING, LLC for 'Architectural & Engineering Services' on the PULAN project and the necessary construction permits are being processed at the moment.

Kang Yun Lee, the Chairman and CEO of MRDC visited Saipan on December, 2009 and had a meeting with Mr. John Delrosario, the Secretary of the DPL(Department of Public Land).

Chairman Lee explained the status of PULAN project which has been hit by the global recession. Secretary John Delrosario expressed his understanding of the situation and also his gratitute to MRDC's never-tiring efforts to make the PULAN project move forward. He also promised constant support from the NMI government and even stronger cooperation for successful progress of the PULAN project.

Meanwhile MRDC announced its plan to adopt a world best energy-saving solution to the PULAN project and agreed to share it with the NMI community. As the first step, it is scheduled to February and March of 2010, that MRDC holds a demonstration of the candidate energy-saving solution in Tinian and Saipan, inviting the NMI government officials.
